Ordering, Delivery, and After-Sales Support

Ordering, Delivery, and After-Sales Support

What information is required to place an order?

For gene synthesis or cloning, provide the target sequence or NCBI Gene ID/accession number, target vector, insertion site, tags, and any special requirements. For mutagenesis, provide the complete template-plasmid sequence, mutation position, and original and desired bases. For small-RNA products, provide target-gene information or sequence, species, scale, purification method, and modification requirements. For plasmid preparation, provide plasmid information, grade, scale, and endotoxin specification.

How long does it take to receive a project plan and quotation?

Our technical team completes a feasibility or difficulty assessment within one business day and provides the experimental plan, turnaround time, and quotation. For small-RNA synthesis and agomir projects, the modification plan, molecular-weight calculation, and quotation are provided within 1–2 business days.

What is included in the delivery?

Service projects generally include 5 μg of high-purity plasmid DNA, supplied as liquid or lyophilized powder; an optional glycerol stock in DH5α or another specified host; FASTA and GenBank sequence files; original Sanger sequencing chromatograms (.ab1) and an alignment report; a plasmid map; and a certificate of analysis (COA). Small-RNA products are supplied as 1 OD aliquots of lyophilized powder with a synthesis report, mass-spectrometry report, and instructions for use.

Can the delivered plasmid be used directly for transfection?

Standard delivered plasmids have an A260/A280 ratio of 1.8–2.0 and can be used directly for restriction digestion, PCR, sequencing, transformation, and routine cell transfection. For sensitive cells such as primary cells, stem cells, and immune cells, or for in vivo animal studies, endotoxin-free preparation is recommended, with specifications of <0.05 EU/μg and optional levels of <0.01 or <0.005 EU/μg.

What happens if the sequencing result is incorrect or the product does not meet the agreed performance target?

Delivered products are tested according to the agreed quality standards. If a sequence error is caused by us, the product will be resynthesized or recloned at no additional charge according to the agreed terms. Differences caused by natural variation in the template, such as SNPs, will be documented in the delivery files and discussed in advance. If a three- or four-candidate sequence package does not meet the agreed performance target, redesign is available according to the agreed terms after quantitative data are provided.

Can a non-disclosure agreement be signed?

Yes. All sequences, vectors, and project information provided by customers are managed under strict confidentiality. They will not be disclosed to any third party or used for any other purpose without written authorization. A formal non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be signed upon request.
